k2shots is an aerial photography company based out of sonoma county. instead of using traditional methods for aerial photography using full size helicopters(burning full size quantities of fuel)resulting in much higher operating costs. we here at k2hots on the other hand use a more unique method offering many advantages over the common aircraft.

full size helicopters and airplanes are also limited to 500ft above ground level(rural areas) and 1000ft above ground level in populated areas. to compensate for not being able to get the close better photo, telephoto(zoom) lenses are used which most commonly decreases the over all quality of the photo.

with the remote controlled helicopter electric helicopter we use, altitudes from 0-500+ ft are easily possible and this altitude range uses a different spectrum of lenses, wide angle, which give a much more airborn look and feel and not to mention a higher quality photo.
